Privacy Policy

The Site uses Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how people find the Site. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect information such as the pages you view, how long you stay, your general location (city or country level), and your device and browser type. This information is reported in aggregate and is not used to identify you personally. You can opt out with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

The Site shows ads through Google AdSense to help cover the cost of running it. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this Site and other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this Site and/or other sites on the internet.

You can opt out of personalized advertising in Google's Ads Settings, and opt out of some other third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To learn more, see how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent message (provided by Google) before personalized ads or advertising cookies are used, and can change their choices at any time through that message's privacy settings.

PEARatings does not sell your personal information. Advertising cookies placed by Google and its partners may be considered "selling" or "sharing" under some U.S. state privacy laws. You can opt out of that use at any time through the ad settings and browser controls described above.

The Site links to other services, such as X (Twitter) and Buy Me a Coffee. Anything you do on those sites, including any support contribution, is handled by that service under its own privacy policy.

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes take effect when they are posted on this page, and the effective date at the top will be updated.

Questions about this policy, or about anything you've sent to PEARatings, can go to pearatings@gmail.com.
